What are the conditions where you would go to a concert at an outdoor amphitheater? At a small indoor venue? For me, first need to get vaccinated and also need the region's case counts down (not sure to what number)... what else? I would go to an outdoor concert sooner than an indoor show, but I don’t know what more I would need to see in the numbers to feel comfortable attending an indoor show.
The important date for me is this September... our NO/PSB show is indoors at MSG. There will be air travel, hotel stay, and an indoor mass gathering involved. Will be watching when and how Broadway reopens. That, I think, might provide a sense of how safe things are at a given moment.

I got a text from Kate regarding how itsy (Nathaniel) is doing:
He's still very weak but slowly improving, the pneumonia really got to him so it'll take longer than usual to recover but he isn't getting any worse which is great news.
Thanks to all for your prayers/vibes/etc. I know Kate appreciates ths support. Nathaniel is a fighter & is going to beat this!

Thank you, Chuck. I love the news Vibes and thoughts travels to Bristol every day.
No more illnesses, no more hospitals, no more pain - motto for 2021 and also for the future.

Took my 2 elderly friends for their 2nd shot yesterday. Thankfully they've not had any reaction but I'm on standby in case they feel off & they need anything (cooking, washing etc.).
In addition to legend I think Dolly is just an awesome person in general. Whenever you see her she just seems to be very down to earth & genuine despite being uber wealthy. Maybe a result of coming from poverty. Lots of people who do that seem to lose perspective though. All the accolades she has received recently are well deserved & she probably deserves more if she will take them!
Even though they close the non essential businesses here, they're not clamping down on travel. So the morons from Budapest & Pest all zoom down to the lake or their various summer houses at the weekend & mob the supermarkets on Fridays & Saturdays & bring it with them. This is the region breakdown of infections in Hungary. Anyone spot a problem?

There is no sense at all in the actions taken by authorities, it is happening everywhere. Here we have a lockdown, with more restrictions than in the whole country, of one province with very high number of the new cases. From Monday the next province will join it. Strangely, both provinces are not densely populated and they don't have big cities but they both have places very popular among tourists. One is located at the seaside and the other is the biggest lake district. The fact that there are no plans to limit travelling is ridiculous.

Had an interesting chat at the weekend about the closure of al non-essntial shops here in Hungary for 2 to 4 weeks. He was say that, if you think about it, the hairdresser has one or two people in it, the beauty salon the same, the local electronics store has a couple of people & they are all forced to close. The supermarkets & pharmacies, on the other hand, are more or less always full of people so the likelihood of transmission is going to be greater in those stores with more people in them which are, ironically, the ones that are allowed to remain open. Don't get me wrong. I'm not denying that there's a massive problem, but it just seems a bit topsy turvy.

Basically true unless we are speaking about hordes of people storming DIY stores or big electronic stores or trendy clothes stores etc., etc... So maybe just closing all big stores would be a solution?
However, I really feel very calm and safe even though all stores are opened in Poland. Our prime minister announced today the end of pandemic. We are reportedly going out of it undefeated (!). After Easter everything will be normal again (!). He is so sure about it that he even didn't notice two new big temporary hospitals for Covid patients opened today 'cause there are no free Covid beds anymore. Not to mention around 15.000 new cases per day (it's worth to add that only people with symptoms are tested here).
I'd love to pack my two cats and move to the other end of the world...
