Got around to watching the Mystify: Michael Hutchence doc this weekend. I thought it was really well done. No talking heads. Just audio from him and many of the important people around him accompanied by video of the period, much of it shot by Hutchence himself. Excellent.

It was pretty good wasn't it? Wasn't a huge fan, although I did see them live once on the Kick tour & they were really good. But the docco really showed MH in a light I'd not even considered before & the change in his demeanour after the Paris attack was pretty shocking to see.
Watched it last night, encouraged by this thread. Very good doc. I've never been an INXS fan, in fact, I kinda despised them by the time they were around, but It really doesn't matter when a doc tells a story in a good, well done way.
I'm in the middle of watching this, also inspired by this thread. I haven't hit the TBI part yet.
So far, my takeaways are that I never knew how beautiful Kylie Minogue was at age 20 or whatever (and also his girlfriend Michelle) and that I had never really appreciated his vocal abilities.
