I’ve been watching all of them for a while and the only thing it occurs me aside from the facts that Figie and Bluehughes have already pointed out, it’s that the SS deluxe release is the only one that includes tracks that have nothing to do with the making of the album. A different way to point out what has already been said.
Maybe you're right. It's not so much about the content & non band members singing songs (Siouxsie sings backing vocals on I'm Cold) There is one unique thing about Seventeen Seconds vs all their other albums & deluxe re-issues (apart from it being the best thing they've ever done as gongoro73 quite rightly pointed out .)
