Have at it, and good luck with the search, let's hope it yields results for all of us.......
I'll be deleting this in a few days, no changes since 14 July 2020. Which is when I uploaded it. What a waste of my time.
If you have a lead on Brisbane 21 August 1992 - CT version, for the love of Bob, let me know. Please!

Don't delete it, that would validate it a waste of time, maybe just make it public to the forum instead of private within the forum?
Forgive my naivety but what are the actual chances of any uncirculated recordings and/or new bootlegs popping up anymore?
Well the Sydney 81 FM from master reel just popped up on Dime, should be an upgrade for most, already grabbed 250+ times. As for other stuff, occasional trades do still happen, but of course, some things will most likely not see the light of day. Same as it ever was really.

Ah yes. With the Canadian broadcast "master cassette (first tape no copies)" patched in to make it complete. Yeah. That's not a crock of cr@p at all.

It has been shared on guitars101 as well, and this is the latest post from this guy:
=== have spoken with Dime, who have told me they don't doubt my information, and agree with me that this minor issue has originated with the original master or digitizing process. Anyone who read the text file that came with the download would know I already spoke of some issues with the digitizing process, my original text file says "I'm unsure if it was damaged tape edge, incorrect azimuth or tape head alignment during digitization, or maybe for some strange reason was EQ'd down, but after some time and effort I have got it to closely match the right channel and sound as it should". However I don't think they'll be putting it back up as it "looks" lossy. (See attached screenshots in email I received from Dime). ===
well, actually I wouldn't mind if it is lossy or not if it sounds better than the one I have.

This is what he does. Drop his files in spek & then do the same with a proper FM source. The difference is quite striking. He thinks I got it banned from dime. Chance'd be a fine thing. That was someone else. But it is of truly dubious lineage.
I fully trust you Steve. I am a disaster from a techinical point of view, but I will listen to it soon or later and I will provide my feedback about listening experience.

Nothing dubious about the sound for me. This is no average low-bitrate mp3 stuff if my ears aren't totally shot. The FM tracks need (and respond well to) noise reduction. Aucdtect.exe says the tracks are all Mpeg, but false alarms are very common in those programs. I have no plausible theory about the 16khz drop though. Maybe he accidentally used 32khz sampling rate or some low-pass filter.
One good thing about music, when it hits you feel no pain So hit me with music, hit me with music
I can confirm there's a drop around 16khz on the FM2 tape I shared here, although not as pronounced as the drop on BG version. Also there's a drop around 15khz on the Re-broadcast version recorded to analogue tape that I also shared here. So it probably is on the archive tape, just like BG said on guitars101. In any case I wouldn't worry much about the whole thing tbh. The BG is the best this show will ever sound unless officially released some day.
