I went for a moto G7 in the end. It's pretty spectacular for the price & effectively has stock android without any annoying bloatware that other manufacturers seem to think we all need.
That looks deceivingly good for it's low price. My wife needs a new phone so I'm definitely adding this to the shortlist as she's not keen on spending hundreds of pounds on them.

It's excellent to be honest. I am a fan of Motorola phones because they just aren't cluttered up with proprietary apps that you can't get rid of. Migrating all the data & apps over is a doddle too.
New 4K blu ray player. Needed one with dual HDMI outputs as my telly doesn't support DTS codecs* (like those audio tracks on most blu rays) & my AV amp doesn't have the certification for HDR pass through (but does support DTS codecs). Spent most of yesterday faffing about & swearing a lot as whatever i tried i still couldn't get the DTS Master Audio via the audio output. Today I solved it. Pulled the ARC cable out of the telly as it seems to be hogging the audio feed & piping it back to the amp, regardless of the fact I have a separate HDMI cable running from the player to the amp. Sans ARC (which I don't need for blu rays anyway) it works perfectly Go me!
*samsung's way of selling more of those stupid soundbar things that do support DTS codecs.
I needed a new portable speaker for work. Must be able to be quickly packed up in my mobile office (i.e., suitcase) and set up without shelf space. The JBL Clip 3 is working out really well and has decent "oomph" in terms of sound quality for the price point.
I have never heard so much depth & detail in a pair of headphones. Especially a pair this small. The bass is absolutely frightening. I also did some experimenting with the silicon tips to get the best result. There's a great guide to which tips are best here
It's based on chromium but it's way quicker & has built in adblocking/ privacy settings. But you can toggle it as you need. Easy to import all your bookmarks from other browsers too & the password manager is really simple.

One thing I have noticed with this Brave browser is that since I've started using it, I haven't had any of those super annoying grammarly or etoro ads on youtube that auto play before a video
Waiting for this bad boy from Sweetwater. Of course I would pick the one they are out of. I hope that means it's good. Any thoughts?
Gives you the opportunity to transfer vinyl to your hard disc. This is a good thing At least you won't have to turn the disc over mid way through and spoil the flow.
I don't know manufacturers but it was original Competition pro joystick in perfect condition and a not so great condition quickshot ii turbo. But I'm not into nostalgia in these, they were nearly waste for me. I still have plenty of ad&d games that are quite valuable in my closet.
One good thing about music, when it hits you feel no pain So hit me with music, hit me with music
