Absolutely. They're going for overall reach rather than #RealFans...
I'd go for the term "being inclusive", but yes, you're right. They're giving back to everyone who was part of that 40 year journey I suppose.
All that said, the prospect of Meltdown (as it was filmed (& by the same guy who did the Sydney stream last week)) getting a release should please those of us who would prefer the thunderous bass line from Other Voices rattling the ornaments
If anything, I thought the Meltdown show, was a bit of a disappointment as it was clearly not the event that was being advertised. Having said that, I'm sure everyone who was there loved the show just as I loved the Hyde Park show. Hyde Park was supposed to be a celebration rather than a retrospective and it succeeded at that. It was one great party.
None in Norway either as far as I can see, though it does pop up as an excising title but with no planned showings. Crossing my fingers that it means that there will be showings, just that they aren't announced yet.

Could be that, I wouldn’t get too worried until the official announcement on the 6th, I only found out about Hamburg because it was the cinema I expected them to show it at and as luck would have it it appeared this afternoon!
I don't know if this is common knowledge but tickets are available already.
All I could find was the Proctors web site selling tickets with a presale code. The only thing in the US that is coming up for me is a showing on July 11 in Schenectady, NY. I don't even know where that is.
I'm surprised there is no NYC listing. What am I doing wrong? Halp!!!!
ETA: That's 2.5 hours north of NYC. Surely something else will be announced...

I think the tickets available already may have jumped the gun a little as the trailer doesn't even release for a few more days.
I'd just keep an eye on your local cinema listings that you think might show it.
Here in England, I just went to my local City Screen website and found it on there.

Faboooolous, thanks BlueHughes. Hoping the cinema that I like that serves BEER will be showing it. If not, I'll be borrowing my husband's flask.
