I feel like this release is only geared towards longtime fans. The song Disintegration is not really an everyday fan favorite. Even though I really like the fact that the two proper performances releasing with the current line up, I wish they had spent the time given to this project to release the new album earlier.
Would be infinitely better if there was a 4K release
And vinyl.
LOL Vinyl can go & die in a fire. 18th century tech has no business being in our faces & ears today. Everything is digitally mastered so what goes on the shiatty quality vinyl these days is exactly the same as what goes on the CDs (but without all the surface noise). But that's a different discussion. The technology was there to make a bit perfect hi res audio & ultra hi res video product.

Well, that was a strong reaction. I suppose we can agree to disagree.

Most of the people listen to music in shiatty equipment these days, so it doesn't really matter if releases are hi res, cd, vinyl, cassette or shellac. 90% of the time people is listening to it in a poor, inadequate way.
I love vinyl for purely romantic and nostalgic reasons, I guess. I like to touch things. And vinyl records are also beautiful things to look at.

I did some googling & couldn't find anywhere. You not got a local store you can contact at all?
I guess I could try a few. Most indie stores mainly carry vinyl and tapes these days, so I mainly shop online and at used stores.
That's what I thought about my local indie store, but when I went in and looked more closely there were quite a few box sets, instrument supplies, and some audio equipment there, too. The owner seemed genuinely happy for the heads up since he wanted to stock it. It's worth a try to talk to the proprietors.
There's always the off chance someone will buy it, hate it, and immediately donate it to the second hand store?
Spotify has Disintegration (live) as a single. I wouldn't comment but it looks like it has From There To Here, From Here To There artwork - not the Anniversary artwork. Wonder if the Meltdown set will get a separate release? There's nothing from Hyde Park on Spotify.
