I worked on two projects that are streaming right now. Both of them handmade :-) this is on Netflix. (maybe doesn't count as "currently watching" but I want to give it a bump...)
Mr. K's pick for tonight's FMN. Spawnage just wrote a paper on Morgan Freeman, so I'm excited to hear what they think. I know I love a good sports movie.
I was binge-watching today BBC series Luther. Thanks to Lion and Tayga who decided to make a cat bed out of me, I watched 7 episodes in a row. To be honest, I expected more from this title but it's definitely enough to watch it till the end. Well, Idris Elba is more than enough.
But I don't see And I don't feel But tightly hold up silently My hands before my fading eyes And in my eyes Your smile
I mistook stars reflected in a pond at night for those in the sky.
Watched last year and unfairly not mentioned here - Logan (2017). I must confess that I detest superhero movies, most of them are crap. The more surprised I was with this one. It was my first superhero movie where for most of the time I didn't remember that it was a superhero movie. Respect.

Refreshed some time ago, one of my classic faves - The Bone Collector (1999). The only character of Angelina Jolie that I really like and absolutely perfect Denzel. I still watch this film with interest and chills even though it's quite simple.

If by any chance someone would like to watch a bit of the cinema produced in far, far land, I wholeheartedly recommend this Tunisian drama - Bik Eneich (A Son) [2019]. Very authentic film about that nothing will ever be the same again.

An absolute revelation - series ZeroZeroZero (2019-2020)
Produced in Italy but with a fantastic multinational cast, the series took me in an amazing journey from fabulous Italian Calabria, through Mexican suburbs of Monterrey, Morocco, Senegal to New Orleans following the story of one very dirty business run by very relentless people with their own rules. This (mini) series really is incredibly good in every aspect. As a cherry on top - Mogwai wrote the music!

Been watching Poker Face on the Peacock Channel. It's great!! Natasha Lyonne is fantastic. Highly recommend.
I’ve been catching bits of this while Mr. K watches. It’s perfect for a quick-moving break. Good cameos / cast in addition to the awesome Ms. Lyonne. Her character is OTT.

She Reminds you of a hip female Columbo huh?
There is a huge nod to Columbo in the format for sure. Shabbily dressed, wreck of a car & the knowing the murderer before the detecting stuff is all there. But it took me two episodes to notice she was smoking those cigarillo things which is a massive homage to Peter Falk & his ever present cigar.

I freaking loved Columbo. And peter falk. One of the funniest movies he ever made was with Alan Arkin called the inlaws. Nearly peed myself laughing.
