I highly, highly recommend this mini series. On a personal note, my mom’s cousin was sadly one of this serial killer’s victims.
I just read about Charles Sobhraj, the monkey with the diaper, everything. The series has good reviews. I had never heard about these murders. I'm sorry about your mother's cousin. Until you have someone you know whose been murdered, the whole concept seems too far-fetched to imagine. But there are real people behind every crime like this.
@notkristie - I definitely recommend this series - it’s so good! My mom and her cousin who was featured in this series grew up together in the same farming community. They’re the exact same age, and attended school together. About a year before he was murdered, they met up to chat about his future travel plans. His goal was to complete the whole ‘hippie trail’.
What bothers me the most is when I think about his final moments... I shutter to think what went through his mind before he died.

Wow, that’s really something. And yes. That’s what I always think of, too. The last moments.
Very disappointing. I had high hopes with Bob Odenkirk starring (Better Call Saul is my favorite current tv show). This is just over the top violent with very little script. There are some other interesting people in the cast too. I had been looking forward to seeing this. Really glad I didn't pay any money to see it.

That’s disappointing to hear, I really like Bob Odenkirk.
Another history of one English family. Too much of romance, too little of facts and a ridiculous impression that Henry VIII could have been so colourless and weak, and at the same time able to turn his country upside-down. Of course, everything because of a woman who denied him an access to her bed.
But I don't see And I don't feel But tightly hold up silently My hands before my fading eyes And in my eyes Your smile
I mistook stars reflected in a pond at night for those in the sky.
