Ages ago I saw a vid on yt about reeves’ pb, I wonder if it’s changed. Must look into that again.
Looks like Roberts chain is ? > Tuner > EQ > Blues Driver > Overdrive (OD3?) > DIgital Delay (DD3/7?) > Phaser (PH3) > Digital Delay > Flanger (BF3) > Flanger (BF2) > Amp
I’m not 100% on the first flanger tho. Odd to have two, but I’m not sure what else it could be. Second purple pedal is def a BF2. I have one and those knobs match..
All Boss pedals! And hilariously he’s not running isolated power supplies, rather he’s daisychaining the first six pedals and then the last three. Ohhhh bedroom tone chasers will be lamenting his “incorrect” choices. Hahahahaha
From what I’d seen previously he put his wah before the tuner, but if he has it, it’s out of frame..

Actually that may be a compressor not a blues driver. It’s pretty hard to tell as they both have the same style and layout of knobs. I would have said that a blues driver next to an overderive was unlike, but two flangers, two delays....

Robert has been using the Blues Driver for years now, and I'm 99% sure this is one.

This is strange that robert only uses "cheap" pedals as the boss ones. I mean it is not a bad brand, but there is so much better on the market that this is surprising. I know he likes the colors of the pedals but it s not a great reason to only use it.

My guess is he just likes the sound & effect. It's not like he can't splash out on more up-market gear, but once you find something that you like, you tend to stick by it I suppose.

Boss pedals are reliable, available everywhere (should you need to replace one on tour, (yes I realise the first two statement are contradictory)), have well defined controls that make sense ( ie volum is called volume, not Bananas like in the SuperMonkeySlipDistortion), and there is a wide range of effects available.
This whole idea of “boutique is better” is in part elitism. Go watch JHS Pedals’ video on Boss pedals, and check out his collaboration with Boss. Sure, there are different cheaper and more expensive options out there but I believe it’s a combo of Boss being innovative reliable pedals, and what Steve said about going with what you know.

Cracks me up that he uses the BCB60 and 30 too, not some PedalTrain overpriced w@nkfest. Shame those things aren't made more configurable though, I'd love to get one and put the peds in like this TU3 > Crybaby > 4 other pedals, then use a BCB30 for the other pedals, or another 60. I think I currently have 9 or 10 pdeals on my board. Can't remember, can't be bothered looking, unless someone is interested, but that's another thread maybe i should go look at that thread.
