My chilli plants have just started bearing fruit again
I was about to cut them back to prep them for winter and noticed a dozen chillies.
Steve you have to check this guy out. He cross pollinates all of these hot peppers and develops his own types. I just bought a pile of seeds from him. I'm going to try to grow some of his beauties hydropinically. I am actually having success doing that right now with sweet peppers. But he is a cool. He does not handle the super ones well (he is a woosy pants) but check out his hot pepper series. He is neat. I like him. Now his friend Peter can eat the super hot ones without blinking an eye. I forget his site but it's on Khang's site somewhere.

Mr. K bought me a mini citrus tree for my birthday! It's called a calamondin and it bears fruit that is like a cross between a kumquat and a mandarin orange. It's supposed to be easy to care for and it blooms year-round. I cannot tell you how good it makes our bedroom smell. I loooooove the smell of orange blossom and that's what this smells like. Heaven.
Monday it went crazy cold here. It's stayed that way, but I think Monday was the coldest. So, I have created a little indoor nursery for the seeds I planted Saturday that haven't germinated yet. Misting the soil regularly, since the heat running inside makes everything drier.
I planted poppies, chamomile, calendula, lavender, pansies, chives (?), and some magnolia seeds that dropped from my next door neighbor's tree, having tried to stratify them in my refrigerator over the winter. But I think I didn't keep them moist enough some I'm doubtful they'll germinate.

I hope they grow ! Super excited to see what your plants will like later this spring. Also - huge fan of poppies, they’re just so pretty.
