Just finished first episode of season 2 & wow! Just WOW! Delores has gone completely kill anything with a pulse hasn't she? Not sure I trust Charlotte. I can't remember the reason Delos wanted Abernathy. Maeve is still truly badass. Probably my favourite character. & how about Bernard? Poor sod still doesn't have a scooby what's happening. But the show runners have stuck to the original format, which was very clever. I like the way the timelines are all slightly jumbled so as promote theories among nerd like myself. If the rest of the season is half as good as this opener it's going to blow minds for sure.
Well Clementine's looked better. & is Teddy having second thoughts? Kind of enjoyed the "East"world bits. Nice to see other bits of the park, although everyone's now crossing into the different parts. & they seem to have revived Shiva from The Walking Dead too
Elsie's back! The whole Jim Delos loop was quite upsetting really. Even if he was a jerk, but now we have an idea of what they want the technology for. No nutjob Delores though, which was disappointing. Starting to love her sheer unhingedness. So, big question is...who was the other control unit printed for?
Well, a lot more like Eastworld this week wasn't it? & as for Akane. Surprise! Mind you, the Shogun had it coming. Not sure what Delores is doing to Teddy though. Looks like a complete re-write of his mind.
What the flippington flip happened there? Teddy's aggression chip has gone haywire. I do hope Sizemore fixes Maeve up. She's seriously good. & are Delores and Maeve Ford and Arnold? Glad things are unravelling though & now we (sort of) know what the park was built for in the first place.
nice piano version of "heart shaped box" this week. watching episode now. not my favorite episode so far but maybe will rally at the end. too many subtitles. reading at 2:00AM, bleh!
You're not wrong about the subs. Good to have the Ghost Nation back story at last & the Akecheta & Kohana story was heartbreaking. I did like when the techs were asked why he was still running the alpha software after ten years. "We only update them when they get killed"
Oh Teddy. What have you done? As for William. He's becoming more & more paranoid. Enough to ice his own daughter. Still not sure how on earth he's still alive with all that lead he took. Bernard seems to be now set up as some sort of stooge to protect the harvested cognitive data from the guests by the looks of it. One more episode to go. Will al be revealed?
That finale was 86 minutes of outstanding genius. Delores is a cunning one isn't she? Sad to see Maeve get iced. I really liked her & her jedi powers. & now we know who William actually is.

Ok, loving Westworld and we all know A Forest was playing on piano in, i think, episode 3 of season 1. But am i the only one who thinks the opening piano of the theme tune sounds like A Reflection??

It might be inspired by A Reflection but they do sound very different to me. Doesn't look like we'll get season 3 until towards the end of this year which is a bit of a bummer
