So I burned my fingers really badly. Was chopping some broccoli florets to drop into the wok & the bag caught fire. What did I do? Like a genius I grabbed a flaming polythene bag.

Florets ok?
I regularly cook a random knuckle in oven-related incidents...

That sounds like a really bad burn. Can you fall asleep tonight with your hand in a bowl of ice?

ouch!! hot, hot, hot ... hope it’s better by now, as they say most accidents happen in household and kitchen..

The blisters are still forming. I have some cream to put on but I'm not a great believer in that stuff to be honest. Never found a cream that even comes close to working. I think I got to it quickly enough. Hands under ice cold water for ten minutes & been clutching various frozen stuff & cold cans of beer. It's not so sore at the moment which is a relief. It did really bl00dy hurt at the time though. Won't be doing that again

Some of the worst pain I've felt (aside from childbirth in my living room) was a steam burn on my hand. It felt like my hand was being held inside a fire hours afterwards. Get some rest, steve.
Aww thank you! There’s too much arguing / drama between so co-workers and management, which makes for a very toxic work environment. It’s rotten and has been since I started working there 10 years ago.
Been gardening for a friend who's in the UK. She rents her house out over the summer & I manage it for her. Usually she's here in May but with the situation she can't really come without having to spend 14 days in quarantine. Mowed her enormous lawn & re-planted a rockery today in 30°c heat. Now losing goth points for the tan I have acquired today State of the rockery yesterday State of it now
