How about a thread dedicated to dance of any and every kind? I think RS is a great dancer because he has his own style that is authentically, unadulterated "him." So this could be a place for dance related to TC, unrelated to TC, related to whales, trees, milk cartons, etc., etc.
Dance has always been my favorite art form because there is no intermediary, you are just using your body to interpret music or express something. You don't have to worry about tuning an instrument, mixing colors, or anything else. You are always prepared. There is also nothing else I know that can make you feel like you have the ability to fly of your own volition (maybe jumping out of a plane, but no thanks).
Here is a montage of excerpts from four pieces from the repertoire of Alvin Ailey. My absolute favorite is the second one (men in red and white costumes), "Grace". I'm po'd I can't find the whole thing to include. The other pieces are Chroma (the first one, I don't love it but the score is by Jack White), Takademe (a kickass solo) and the classic, joyous Revelations.
Here is choreography to Stravinsky's Rite of Spring by the late, great Pina Bausch and her Tanztheater Wuppertal:
