Hey thanks Steve already really enjoying the site,I wouldn't class myself as a totally devoted fan as don't know EVERYTHING about the Cure and I don't collect band T-shirts or Vinyl etc,all I have is one poster and all their albums on CD as well as z few singles and NEVER ENOUGH on 7 inch Vinyl,that's all but I know I appreciate The Cure and all they have done in their amazing 40 years;their music has got so many people through hard times including myself and I'm forever grateful to each and every member,past and present;)

Hey Figie,I completely forgot to mention that I've got Lols book,it's superb I've read it a couple of times;)Mr Lol is a beautiful soul,I lost my dad due to alcohol abuse(he couldnt do anything fir himself for years hence me looking after him )and Lol had a convo with me on Instagram about his struggles with drink and said he hoped I was coping ok etc,a real down to earth genuine guy I have much respect for him;)

Hey Figie,I completely forgot to mention that I've got Lols book,it's superb I've read it a couple of times;)Mr Lol is a beautiful soul,I lost my dad due to alcohol abuse(he couldnt do anything fir himself for years hence me looking after him )and Lol had a convo with me on Instagram about his struggles with drink and said he hoped I was coping ok etc,a real down to earth genuine guy I have much respect for him;)

hello and welcome powderpinkandsweet seems like a perfect time to join this board and share the all excitement that comes before going to a concert. admire your dedication to your family, and understand you very well, been a cure fan since teen days and had a ten year break inbetween mainly due to having two girls, one of them with a cerebral palsy since birth, so know how difficult finding childcare and the right moment to do something for oneself is. the 40th anniversary surely is a brilliant reason to do so! hope enjoy the pre gig giddiness on here 😊
