i wonder if the term "120 minute set" includes encores. that's a lot of bands on the bill. i know hyde park has curfew issues. they pulled the plug on bruce springsteen & paul mccartney! (now steve , be nice haha).
One hell of a line up that! Instantly bought ticket despite Hyde Park gigs usually being a bit crap for sound unless you are at the front. I'll be at the front so that won't matter!

Thank you! Thank you! thank you! I think Iβm going to cry. Your link worked beautifully and Iβve got tickets πππππππππππ I couldnβt get any premium viewing ones but I did get the primary entry ones (whatever that is). Iβm sending virtual kisses π πππ

Hyde Park has a ton of issues, it's probably the worst outdoor venue in the country!
It has the worst: sound (volume levels and quality) crowd (bucket listers and weekenders. Talkers, basically!) facilities (GA had only one bar with 1hr+ queue last time I went).

We went years ago when The Cure played there and it was very much a βfestivalβ vibe - people wandering off in the middle of the set, messing about, chatting etc. Hopefully the presale will sell out of tickets so itβs only fans that go and there wonβt be that this time. Iβm not taking the chance of missing seeing them if this is their only date xx

We promised ourselves we would never go again!
yeah but it is the cure. i'm sure you will enjoy. if i were in good health i would be tempted to make the trip. not happening now. i'm not making any long range plans for anything right now. some big changes coming in 2018. hopefully good ones but that is up in the air right now. the future is murky. if they did a big show in California i would probably try to go. that's about my range right now & even that is getting increasingly difficult. ride & slowdive opening is pretty cool. i like twilight sad, too. too bad they didn't get the pixies!

i have told people to shut the f up or go get a room at shows, haha.

Damn, that bad?
Yep, really surprised they're playing there - a lot of bands with long-term followings have been moving to Victoria Park which is still big but with a lot less restrictions and much better facilities. When Live Nation/Ticketmaster pull out of a venue then you know there are problems!
(still bought tickets - through gritted teeth though!)
I cannot believe... it's my son's birthday and I cannot go, he would never understand. So bad

Primary Entry - they let you in first so you can get into the front section by stage - don't know if they wrist band that section or not.
