Could be worse. Could be a wardrobe filled with a great band.

We met friends in Chinatown for dim sum and then walked across the Brooklyn Bridge on the way home. It was a gorgeous day.

What is the small island on your photos? Please tell me  an angry hermit lives there who hurls jellyfish at any pleasure boat that gets too close.

I went to the Upper East Side of Manhattan today. If you're not familiar, there are some very, um, "nice" abodes there & it has a bit of a reputation as hoighty-toighty (my clean cut bf & I once asked a lady for directions & she looked at us like criminals & turned heel quickly with her precious Yorkies). 

Pleasantly surprised to see some of the upper crust go all out for Halloween. It was quite impressive. The guitar lesson picture is from a subway station.
