GW15: Deadline 11:30 GMT Saturday 2nd December

…. & breathe….
So the whirlwind of fixtures is over….until the festive period that is when it gets totally nuts.
& GW15 gave us a curious mixture of injuries, illness, squad rotation & occasional football.
In the early game at the Bridge, Chelski had to come back from an early Toon lead to win 3-1 putting them level on points with Untidy (for a while).
Brighton hosted Liverpool at the Amex & were summarily thumped 1-5 in a game where (sit down) Salad actually didn’t score a goal.
Everton’s new gaffer saw his side dispatch Huddersfield in the second half & Burnley’s good away form was halted by Leicester in the 6th minute.
The pressure on Clement mounts despite being given an early lead from Bony (remember him?). The Swans eventually lost their beak hold on the game & slid to the bottom of the table.
Watford’s tactics against Spurs appeared to be: kick Kane. Kick him lots. In a bad tempered game that saw 5 yellows & a red from Martin (he cards them when he wants to) Atkinson saw Spurs finish with 10 men & one point.
Palace travelled to the Hawthorns where they met former guv’nor Pardew’s new mob & fought a hard earned draw to lift them off the bottom.
But the evening game lived up to the hype. In what was probably one of the most intense games of the season so far Arsenal were pretty much undone in 11 minutes & despite peppering the Untidy goal with 15 shots it was David De Gea who made an outstanding series of (14) saves.
Lacazette did pull 1 back, but Lingard delivered the hammer blow & shortly after Pogba was given his marching orders for stamping on Bellerin’s leg.
Just the 2 games on the Sunday & Bournemouth were denied a 30th minute panalty as Adam Smith was booked for diving. But hey. Jon Moss said he was sorry & that he was wrong so we’re all good right? The game ended all square as Charlie Austin cancelled out Fraser’s 1st half strike.
Man Citeh have become known for their jammy late goals of late & Sundays match vs Wet Spam was another example. The Spammers had taken a shock lead but Citeh responded in the 2nd half from Otamendi & had to wait until the 83rd minute to grab their 13th win on the trot & break the 40 point safety barrier to keep them safe from relegation.

In the FPL, the EIB couldn’t quite make it 2 on the bounce as the IGM whipped up a 519 point win for the week to squeeze the gab between them & the BB&S to just 118 points

Back to the shed then to regroup. But at least I managed to blag some of those mini sausage rolls that emilystrange made last week so we have something to nibble
The 40th anniversary calendar still hasn’t arrived, so we had to put the old poster back up until it does. We couldn’t have the Athena one of the tennis girl because BlueHughes ’s mum complained
