Yes, the ending is crucial, I love it. I rewatched it some weeks ago. Just imagine how it could have been if Lynch would've been on board for the whole season 2.
But instead, we had too many nonsense soap opera, unfortunately. Worst of them I can recall, the James/femme fatale story and the Super Nadine/Mike affair. What was that?
Oh, and all that Ben endless lead soliders battles...
So, absolute definites from last night, not sure I've got this in the right order:
Bomb goes off, we see Bob in the aftermath.
The Woodsmen are going crazy at the convenience store.
And then, 10 years later The giant sees the Bomb go off and sees Bob. The giant is somewhere else, not Earth. He floats up to the ceiling and creates the gold sphere with Laura. That is sent to Earth from the other place.
An egg hatches and the creature comes out.
The Woodsmen start threatening people A young couple are walking home. The woodsman goes to the radio station, kills people, sends the town to sleep. The creature enters the girl while she's asleep.
I might have messed the order up, I've only seen it the one time. Are the couple the future Leland and Sarah Palmer?
Yep, that's more or less what happened. Quite easy, uh?
They're speculating in the forums about young copule being Leland and Sarah... I don't know. It may be. If Sarah is infected with the evil bug, maybe Laura is created to fight that evil. But, if this is the case, giant plans were unsuccessful, I guess.
And... is the bug Bob? And if so, why entered in Sarah's mouth instead of Leland?
Questions, questions.
...
About Gordon, the picture hanging in his office, the FBI and the military, yes, I'm sure they know somehow that these nuclear tests carried the consecuences we have been watching. Or at least, they suspect it.
The bit I don't get (as if it's the only bit!) is we see the egg hatch immediately after the gold Laura ball is sent to Earth, not after the Bob explosion section. So, if the egg is the gold ball and the bug thing is some kind of Laura implantation then it doesn't make sense that the Woodsmen send everyone to sleep just so the bug can enter someone. Or is that a coincidence? We don't see the girl harmed by the bug thing in any way.
If the egg isn't Laura related but Bob related then why cut the scenes in the way they are because there's no connection to the woodsmen or convenience store.
Or the egg is third thing that we don't have context for yet - Bob from the explosion, Laura from the gold ball and the egg/bug thing is ???? And I've just realised it's not on next week - argh!
But yes, can't remember now the order of the scenes, but what you say makes sense. Anyway, to portray Laura as a bug, is little weird, but not impossible. And, as far I can remember, the Bob explosion section contained quite a high number of those eggs, along with the Bob sphere...
Yep, I definitely have to watch it again. I only remember seeing Bobs face in the explosion, I didnt even see the other gold balls! And the gold balls seem different to the egg, which I'm sure was in the second time period.

So much to work out..
Eggs are coming along with Bob, who is not inside an egg, but in a similar sphere as the Laura's one. So, if these eggs are coming from the explosion, I guess bugs are not a good thing at all, and indeed, the bug we have seen is not Laura.

If this is true then Showtime are selling the coolest merch ever.
Still absolutely loving this show, no idea what the viewing figures are like or if its a commercial success but its just getting better and better. In 6 weeks time it'll all be over but Dougie is an all time tv great - I hope he somehow survives to the last episode and maybe even beyond
