Interesting interview with Bob Engels from a few years ago. Not spoilery but does give the impression that what we're seeing now has been thought about over a long time period.
I guess we witnessed the dawn of Bob, the Evil with capital E and maybe the black lodge. How about the bug? How about that young woman? Who is she? And how about the giant and his partner? Are they in the white lodge? Who are they? Some kind of gods, some kind of demiurgs?

Amazing cosmogony episode.
What is the big bell/telephone/alarm?
How much does Gordon actually know? He sits next to a picture of the Mexico test.
Is the bug still around, is that what escaped from the glass box?
Yes... and we are yet in the middle of the road. It's really sad that season 2 was ruined because of dumb ABC executives that led into Lynch/Frost departure.
Yes, the ending is crucial, I love it. I rewatched it some weeks ago. Just imagine how it could have been if Lynch would've been on board for the whole season 2.
But instead, we had too many nonsense soap opera, unfortunately. Worst of them I can recall, the James/femme fatale story and the Super Nadine/Mike affair. What was that?
Oh, and all that Ben endless lead soliders battles...

So, absolute definites from last night, not sure I've got this in the right order:
Bomb goes off, we see Bob in the aftermath.
The Woodsmen are going crazy at the convenience store.
And then, 10 years later The giant sees the Bomb go off and sees Bob. The giant is somewhere else, not Earth. He floats up to the ceiling and creates the gold sphere with Laura. That is sent to Earth from the other place.
An egg hatches and the creature comes out.
The Woodsmen start threatening people A young couple are walking home. The woodsman goes to the radio station, kills people, sends the town to sleep. The creature enters the girl while she's asleep.
I might have messed the order up, I've only seen it the one time. Are the couple the future Leland and Sarah Palmer?
