So I was a huge Police fan back in the day as well as The Cure and all I want to know is how did Sting get from writing this dead cool song

I don't think there is one song he's done (other than maybe Sister Moon) since he left The Police I can Wrap My Head Around (see what I did there?) It's like he said "Ok Every Breath You Take has been on the charts for a million weeks and we are at the top of Mt Everest so I'm going to kick Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland off then commit suicide." That is basically what he did.

Because I mean he got rid of this percussion genius...

I missed the reunion tour

They came through the Seattle area twice (beginning & end of tour). I didn't make the first one but thankfully went to the 2nd. My goddaughter likes them, so I took her for rock school. They were outstanding & Elvis Costello opened. Glad I went. I saw 1 of their first big shows just as Zenyatta was exploding in the LA Sports Arena. It was like Beatlemania.
