So many beautiful countries I'd like to visit one day... Hearing you guys talk makes me think even more about this
Me too! Such wonderful people all over the world! My friend is in Spain right now and she is sending such beautiful photos for us to admire. An example. I don't know what building this is gongoro73 ? But it's stunning!!
Your friend is in Barcelona. This is Gaudí's masterpiece La Sagrada Familia (The Holy Family). The unfinished Gaudí's basilica and a sum of all his previous works. Astonishing.

What an AWESOME read everyone!! I am so sad I have to work and miss the concerts LIVE with all of you but it is so much fun to read the thread when I come home (I am going to send my keyboard cleaning bill to wilgy though....haha best pic ever)
POOR POOR Robert!!!! Ugh!! I was only able to briefly peek in on the FB live concert and he was mentioning his voice issues. I feel bad for him big time. What a trooper!! xoxox

gongoro73 Thank you much for that! I must read about it. Some others she sent me.
Such gorgeous architecture!
Yep. The first one is also a Gaudí building, la Casa Batlló, one of his finest works. Although, maybe his most famous one, besides The Holy Family, is La Pedrera.
In the second picture you can see the rear side of Barcelona's 14th century Gothic Cathedral, a very fine example of Spanish gothic architecture.
Hey guys. I had no idea Pink Dream was broadcasting the whole thing. Hope my phone bill is not too hefty. I thought I was helping the cause by scoping 8 or so songs. !!
It was great last night. Lots of fun meeting a couple forum members, and despite all the concern from the man himself, Robert's voice sounded fantastic in the arena. Good energy from the band and crowd.
I kind of expected a "disillusioned set" after the news from America. Maybe turning the whole thing on its head, but it was business as usual. I was at the Dallas show as well, and there was actually quite a lot of overlap with the songs, even despite A Disintegration vs. Wish set. I got Trust, alt.end, The Hungry Ghost, and Step into the Light in Dallas and Köln. BUT last night was the first time I got to hear High live. It Can Never Be the Same will have to be debuted for me SOON. (He promised!!)
Off topic, sort of: Oh, yeah, and I love Gaudi! His architecture is scintillating. Got to see all the greats in Barcelona a couple years ago. Architecture and The Cure are two of my great passions, so nice to see them together on this thread, Pipperoo and gongoro73.
I enjoyed last night even though it was a little back to the "standard set" but how can one complain really! Such a shame he's struggling so, though like andbreathe said I couldn't tell so much until he made a point of it, must be bloody hard to do that for 2 and half hours 3-5 times a week when one has a problem! Lesser men would've cancelled shows..respect to the man you have to give.
