star123 Yep. switching out the disc is certainly not ideal but for the gig I'm going to on Thursday, I don't see them playing more than an hour. So an 80 minute disc should be enough. This is just a "test run" really. I had forgotten I even still had the recorder until the other day when I was looking for a cable for something. Wasn't expecting it to still work either. I'll see how Thursday goes & make a decision based on that. But thanks for all the tips everyone. All noted & much appreciated
