I REALLY like the 1987 version of this but I think the 2012 Summer Cure versions are good too! Especially Primavera 2012. Gorgeous! And for not playing since 1987 some good stuff! A rarity. I love the lyrics. Especially the times it hurts just to breathe.
"The moon will change your mind."

Agreed, I like the song as well. Unforunately I don't remember of they played it at Optimus Alive or not. Quite embarrassing, isn't it? I'm getting old...
"Sometimes you just feel so old. The times it hurts when you cry, the times it hurts just to breathe... And then it all seems like there's no-one left and all you want is to sleep. "

I really disliked this song. I used to hate the music because I hated the words but realise now that that's just stupid. Musically it's excellent, I dislike(d) the positivism of the "chorus". Still do..t I also don't like the "Fight! Fight! Fight" that "follows" the keyboard strikes... blurgh

Bittersweet. ...It's a long story. I like this song too, and it has a great message of course. Never give up, no matter how bad things are going. Just felt I should comment on this one as it was part of the chorus of my childhood, and love that it was written, performed, and ended up in my little Detroit-area hovel to dazzle and distract me.

Why does Robert consider this a ´masculine´ song? However--I love it. Stupid thing is, though, every time I listen to it before going to bed, and this ahs become a rite, I just won´t fall asleep! Argh. I know, "and all you want is to sleep...FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! YOU DON`T HAVE TO GIVE IN... NEVER GIVE IN..." My own bad! Strangely, I think it actually helps one thru bad times. I wouldn´t have expected that. I´d have thought it would be too much of a cliché--seems it isn´t in the end.
