Another brilliant show & another brilliant live update. Muchos thanks to Pipperoo for the updates & of course to sang at the venue for the photos & the wonderful comments. & you all. Again. We are all blown away that you come here & take part & hunt down scopes & so on. You are the best. You really are & I mustn’t forget The Cure. That first encore was a real treat & I am sure it made a few of us very happy indeed, so huge thanks for that.
Now I have to get some shut eye. Please excuse any typos tonight. It’s hard to focus at 2 in the morning
Thank you all and The Cure for a wonderful night. It's was a great pleasure, as always.
I do hope we will watch the footages soon. The main set was very good indeed, but the first encore just fabulous, the second one not worse at all. Thank you Robert! Fingers crossed for clear voice tomorrow evening.
See you, my favourite bunch of Cure nuts ZAPISZ!
But I don't see And I don't feel But tightly hold up silently My hands before my fading eyes And in my eyes Your smile
A number of delightful firsts for me. Got to hear pretty much a Wish-era concert. I got to hear The Hanging Garden for the first time live. And my jaw dropped when the opening notes to Closedown, A Night Like This, and If Only Tonight We Could Sleep started.
No new tracks, yay!
I have read some previous griping somewhere about the setlist on this tour including The Walk, maybe not everyone's fave. It's not mine, not even in the top ten. But I have to say I was blown away by the performance of The Walk tonight, everyone was blasting away in just a perfect combination of harmony and energy. Here's to The Walk, the surprise standout tonight!
See you all for Monday's show, where i hope we hear A Letter to Elise, The Figurehead, At Night, All I Want, and Like Cockatoos. Robert and company will have their passports revoked if they fail to play that last one. Just kidding, I'm pleased they want to play anything at all for us. Thanks, guys!
