To all my European friends: If you like Neil at all, I highly recommend going to see him on the current tour. I've heard a tape of the Belfast show & it is stellar. I saw Neil with POTR backing him up last fall & it was the best non Crazy Horse Neil show I've seen. POTR have fired up Neil. Willie Nelson's sons are in the band & those boys can definitely play. The show I saw in Seattle was 3 hours & covered all of Neil's career. He's whipping out some material that hasn't been played live in 40 years. "On the Beach" is getting a lot of attention. As it should! "Vampire Blues" should appeal to folks with goth leanings, haha.
Looking forward to this - seeing him in Austria next month. The setlists are the most interesting they've been in a very long time. On the Beach is one of my favourite albums and I'm delighted to see it get the well-deserved attention again.
I have been lucky enough to see him 3 times, once with Crazy Horse, once solo, and at Farm Aid where he jammed with Willie Nelson ! You definitely get a show from an artist who is totally into his craft.
I've seen him a couple of times; once acoustic and once with Crazy Horse - he's great but like to I keep him in small doses. I get all my Neil Young fixes from Decade, MTV Unplugged and Weld
Looking forward to the Rust Never Sleeps re-release on Blu Ray though.

I don't know if I'd buy it again but "Human Highway" is worth watching. Just for the long jam with Devo on "Hey Hey My My". Booji Boy on lead vocals!
