I'm not a fan of them but don't see how they could avoid refunds, legally...
European consumer protections are slightly different to other regions, but keep an eye on ticketbastard. Wouldn't put it past them to find a way to line their pockets
Thankfully when I checked our credit card statement online yesterday we have been reimbursed for the Tamaryn / Soft Kill show we were supposed to see in May.
Ticketmaster is criminally inept. Bought tickets for RHCP yesterday on a presale. I was trying to get disabled seating & it kept kicking me out. I'd go back in & the same seats were there. A friend of a friend in Las Vegas had the same problem. I followed the procedure to complain & got a generic email telling me to contact them closer to the show. Problem is the desired seats will be gone by then. All this & they are charging a 25% "service" fee. I'm going to raise hell tomorrow. I beat ticketmaster in a dispute once before about disabled seating & ended up getting an apology from the CEO of LiveNation + gucci seats for a Seahawks game. This was after my issue was on local TV news & a fair amount of internet exposure. Since this is in the baseball stadium, I'm going to call the team about it. When the ushers see me coming & stairs they start having visions of lawsuits. Also, the theater where I'm going to see Wilco Wednesday is going to get some wrath, too. They make a big deal about how committed they are to accessability but when you send them emails about an issue there is no response. I sent emails a week ago asking if I could bring a pillow to the show as I'm having serious back problems. The chairs in the theater were medieval torture devices in a past life. These entities won't like me when I'm angry....

Sky went through a season of slating Arsenal ticket prices, £50 for all away fans they kept repeating - that was wrong, £50 for comfy leather upper tier seats, but anyway ...... Chelsea v Arsenal, Chelsea sold away tickets through ticketdisaster, £50 per ticket - every away ticket was £50, £12.50 Chelsea Admin Fee, £12.50 Ticketdisaster Admin Fee and a further £5 Handling Fee. Arsenal eventually paid all the additional fees but it was never mentioned - how can a company add £17.50 to an already ridiculous ticket price for the broken deck chair seats at Chelsea?? Dreadful.

Success on the Wilco show. The theater is going to allow me to bring a pillow for my back. On the RHCP issue, I sent an email to Major League Baseball accessibility department regarding the problem with Tickmaster & disabled seating @ T-Mobile Park. That should get some action! As David Bowie once sang "Dancing with the big boys".

I won on both issues! The theater got back to me with a little prodding. Apologized for not answering sooner. Ticketmaster was a bit more complicated. I sent a second email checking the event in 3 days box. I then explained the situation & that I checked the box because if they waited the desired tickets would be gone. I also pointed out that this was a safety issue. Then I sent an email to the Major League Baseball Accessibility website telling them about the difficulties with Ticketmaster & disabled seating. Shortly after that I got an email from Ticketmaster with a form to exchange my tickets for disabled seats. The squeaky wheel gets greased!
