that's that (mostly? sometimes?) standard way to delete stuff in the iPhone these days.. unless it's an app that has a Delete button at the bottom of the entry, like Contacts...
it IS poor that they don't show you that in the manual though...

Here's what I found about deleting from rode website.
Removing the public files is a simple process Attach the device to a computer running iTunes Launch iTunes Select the device in iTunes and open it's Apps tab Select the RØDE Rec or RØDE Rec LE application - The public files will be displayed Select the recordings you would like to delete and tap the deletekey on your keyboard to remove them and clear the space on your device.
I don't have iTunes so can't try it yet, makes no sense you can't delete from phone though
thanks, i will try, but i doubt this work better thab my "brutal" méthod. Sometimes apps are not correctly developped. I had the same problem with a few others. Cheers

OK I think maybe you're not going into the correct area... have a look at this:
1. Here is a pic of my backup The Cure Melbourne recording. You can see the little lock image on the left side:
2. Press the little blue arrow on the RIGHT 3. Doing so opens the recording.
4. You can see in that image above, the LOCKED icon is green. Slide it to the left to unlock it as per the arrow in the image above.
5. Once you slide it over, it should look like this - with the lock greyed out:
6. If you go back to the Recordings screen, you can see it's now unlocked:
If that doesn't work for you, you might need to post some screen shots, or just email them to me if you don't wanna upload them. I can pm you my email address...
Let me know.
