Well it's now Sunday, I'm in hospital tomorrow. Today will be spent with my girlies. I really don't know how many gigs I'll get to, right now I think I'll be lucky to make one. Everyone I have tickets for will get them, even if it means me dishing them out in London. It's not difficult surgery this time, it's the combination of everyhing that's causing all the extra grief. Last bout of heart surgery was less than six months ago, and that was not so long after losing a lung and more heart surgery! At least now I have nothing less to break, kidneys are nicely preserved with Absolut Citrus Vodka so they'll be fine, everything else that can go wrong already has ..... I nominate sang to be the idiot while I'm away... .. .
Hi @mort , I know you will be fine very soon and ready for all those Cure concerts you're planning to see later this year. Take care, my friend. Don't forget the nurse's phone numbers for steve .

@mort I just read the entire thread!! Oh man..what a roller coaster it has been for you. I feel like an idiot!! seriously for not digging deeper into the site and realizing what you were going through. Sang had mention it to me a few weeks back and I failed to realize that time sometimes scopes you away and you forget where you are and were it all has gone to. The good news is that you are well and keeping us informed on your health. Shoot...I just realized that the pink shirt I send you may not be appropriate.....should have send the pink shorts instead, or even a roller deck for all those phone numbers you'll need for steve. Rest easy my friend..You need anything you just let me know.
Mort, I'm glad things went well & you're up & kidding around! I think the lack of the heavy duty pain killers is a good sign. In my experience, they don't take away pain, just make you care less about it. It's a slippery slope. I'd give anything to not have to take them but circumstances have dictated that I do. It's all good as I'm functioning but as B.B. King so aptly put it "the thrill is gone".
I have asked 182 nurses for a phone number, they all were keen - then I say "it's for Stevie Goff", they say"in Hungary?" "Yes" I say. I've never heard of so many emergencies in other hospitals needing extra nurses ... .. . One nurse did oblige though, so here you go: +44 117 983 1000, her name is Sam A. Ritan.
