A few of us have spoken to/pestered Mr Tolhurst on twitter, myself, figie and Spud .... he needs to come and say hello!
Perhaps he's be interested in a live chat to promote the book? Set it up for a specific time that is at least somewhat friendly to the various time zones in advance & publicize it. I bet it would be a smash hit & sell him some books. I know he lives same time zone as me in LA but I know I would make a special effort to attend if it were done to accomodate our friends in Europe. I don't do the twitter thing but some contact has been made. We all know this is by far the best of the Cure fan forums.

I've been thinking about this & think I have some good ideas. The book isn't released in the US until 10/11 & is hardcover in the US. If anyone thinks this is worthy & wants to talk about it let me know. I was in the music biz 25 years & whilst I worked in distribution I've done a lot of things including some merchandising, advertising & promotion in younger days. + I had a lot of friends that did other things. I'm a very good observer!

Shoot-I'm going to miss him by a week. Going to Portland for a conference the following week! Oh well. But I must agree, Powell's is a fabulous bookstore(s)!!
