I have none whatsoever. I have to drive to Budapest to find a record store. But I don't like the big stores. I always loved the tiny ones with independent releases & a load of curious looking limited editions on the shelf behind the counter. Those are the ones where you tend to find treasure

See, you do like Wild Mood Swings!
Don't know if it's still there, but there was a nice little store somewhere around the Abbotsford Road, Redland area. Not far from you.
Do you remember the name? It could be "The Beat Goes On" ..... possibly Clifton Arcade Music, there are five or six record shops in that area, those are probably the two most popular - the middle of student land. There are approx twenty record stores within an hour of our place, will have to book a taxi and visit them all! Rise Music is my favourite, they have a cafe and bands play there regularly. Thy open the cafe early on Record Store Day and hand out a list of available merchandise, you can pick your vinyl whilst sipping on a coffee, very sophisticated!
I can't recall the name, but it wasn't Clifton Arcade Music. I picked up The Godfathers Hit By Hit CD there (I only had the vinyl at the time) for a fiver. It was a few years back now, so might be a mobile phone shop or instant loan shop now. It was on a corner I think.
It is just on the outskirts of Redland, in Clifton. They were in that area originally so could be the culprits. Currently have quite a regular supply of Cure vinyl, the recent 180g always turns up - Three Imaginary Boys picture Disc, The Head On The Door, Standing On A Beach make regular appearances
Something is always better than nothing, besides look at what we can share now over the internet. Just the other day I grab "Two Imaginary Years" Love the content by the way. Now I will definitely share what I have.

Headed down for a small vacation down to Vegas. It was good to see that there are some records stores available even here. I picked up 3 nice gems (cure records) when I visited the three records stores. The first one is the 11 street records. There do have records available on line if you like to check them out. link

Had a trip up north to Alta Loma, California and ran into this store called Dr. Strange records. It was such an awesome little store that specializes in rare harcore punk rock music. I found it by mistake, 160 dollars later I walk away with a most of their cure records that they had on their inventory.

My sister had a Caribbean Cruise this past week and wanted to meet up in Long Beach California. I couldn't pass up the chance to see her and of course took the time to introduced my nephews to records at the stores around the area. Wanted a bit much for some records..If I had the cash I might have picked this one up Box Set @ Toxic Toast Records

Hey I can't believe this...all this time I've been trying not to spam my business here and here we are in record shop advert land. Half Price Dogs everybody...that's @ .co.UK or at Facebook or discogs musicstack or eBay... Facebooks probably best its most chatty place and where I want visitors . and sure its not bricks and mortar shop no more...it used to be. For nine years I ran Faeries Wear Boots record shop in Lancaster but its online only now. Slowly listing all unsold stock. Dead cheap - man why did no one tell me that its OK to spam record shops here...get to the Facebook page and say hello

Elfink, The purpose of this thread is not to spam any business. The intent is and will always be to show everyone, who take the time to read the thread, that record shops are alive and still kicking.
I believe there is a section in here somewhere you can sell, trade your collection. If its not OK to list pictures of the stores I have been visiting then someone let me know.
