Just watching the hash tags trending on twitter (as the new one's not on in Hungary) & I wish the Smith haters (most of whom appear to be kids) would stfu. He was a brilliant Doctor. Was everyone expecting him to be the same as Tennant or what? Anyone who can get hitched to River Song has got something going on.
Not watched it yet. I have it on my HDD though for later. Still reading the fall-out on the interwebs. I can't get my head round the people slagging off the scripts recently. Just watch an old Tom Baker or John Pertwee series. Were the scripts better back then? I don't think so really.
Almost Portrait Of Dorian Grey with a twist. (the portraits were in the 50th anniversary episode & he is a freakin' timelord)
Matt Smith rates (IMHO) as one of the best Doctors ever. His link up with Amelia Pond was exquisite. I cried. I have to admit that. I cried at the The Angels Take Manhattan too. No other Doctor Who made me do that. Ever! Not even when Rose got consigned to another dimension forever.
I'm sorry but I just can't watch the new ones. I used to love watching these as a kid, up until they finished with McCoy and McCann. I've tried over the years to watch episodes of the newest Doctors, but I just can't get into it any more
The Horror channel (UK) are currently showing old episodes each weekday. They seem to be doing one story per Dr and are on Jon Pertwee with the 'Sea Devils' at the moment. Quite a funny scene with The Master watching an episode of The Clangers. A bit before my time, I better remember the Tom Baker and (my favourite Dr) Peter Davidson - then it got rubbish until the return.

Yeah I'm not sure it's horror channel worthy.
. Mmm, they do have a somewhat wide interpretation of horror...
