A couple more things to say about last night: I was suprised how well they went down, I thought it might have been a bit of a tough gig for them, especially after 3 hours of science, but everyone was bang into it! There was another solo Cure fan sitting next to me, within moments of getting talking we were swapping gig stories and laughing at tales of how our loved ones have suffered over the years. I do love the camaraderie amongst fans and it really helped make the evening for me! Top night all round
Bob was the only one of the band back on stage for the finale. When they first came on for their set, everyone stayed sitting down but Brian Cox led a charge to the front row with most of the acts that had already been on and started a mini mosh pit - after that everyone was up That strange Lovecats/Robert Smith quote on the screen was a paraphrase of Carl Sagan's “For small creatures such as we the vastness is bearable only through love.”
Just realised, I've now seen Eldritch and Bob do Bright Side of Life - I only need Siouxsie for the hatrick!

Ta, I thought it was a famous quote, but couldn't think where from.
Would make a good thread - philosophical quotes updated for Cure fans!
