It was not an interview, more just trying to get one, and Robert treated journalist with only several sentences. What really annoyed me was this eternal fixation on "Fat" Bob. It is not just because of the fact that I am overweight most of the time, but it is really ridiculous how people, both in England and in Germany, used to see very important thing in the fact that Robert is going fetter and fetter with the time ("Aus dem schlanken, jungen Mann von einst ist ein etwas aufgeschwemmtes Dickerchen geworden..."). It was obviously very important for this journalist as well to include that part in his perception of the band development I must conclude that approach of journalist in general here was pretty superficial for 1985 standards. I praise mostly those several sentences by Robert, where, for example, he is claiming how it is not intention of The Cure to become "boring stadium band" and how episode with Wembley in 1985 should be treated only as "unique experiment"... Yeah, right...
An impression of sound Then everything is gone Forever

Unfortunately most people are superficial. I could care less if he weighed 500 pounds. External appearance is irrelevant to someone's talent, brilliance, and kindness.
You forget though, that all journalist are always perfect in every way!!!! yer sure.
Albeit that I don't understand a word (I only speak English with a splattering of Lancastrian) it was interesting to see what English bands were popular in Germany at that time - whatever happened to The Woodentops? I liked them!
