And here are Lion and Tayga. You surely forgot them. It was a long time so they want to say 'Hello again!'
They're 15 months old now but mentally they are just kittens, very little kittens... They're with me all the time, nights and days. They wake up with me, they work with me. Well... I work, they run, play the ball, jump on the walls, bite impossible to bite things as TV set, miaow, scream or... cuddle up into me or just lie on my lap purring very loudly before they asleep. Sometimes they take part in meetings on-line always having something to say. Thankfully they eat from their bowls not mine. In the evenings they watch movies with me. Lion always falls asleep but Tayga really watches, she particularly likes bloody and thrilling scenes. Hmm... When I try to sleep, one half of the night they run and play loudly and the other half they sleep on me. Literally. They're insanely curious and there are no obstacles for them to having fun. Unless I turn on the monstrous vacuum cleaner or lethal coffee grinder. Or someone stranger rings the door. It always must be a cat murderer and the outer corner under the couch is the safest place then.
They are simply gorgeous, sensitive and very emotional. They are my pride and joy. And my love.
Lion:
Tayga:
Heating season is great!
Toys are great!
Not when you have to wait for your breakfast...
Lion is a specialist in buying things on the internet.
Well.. This time the cat tree turned out to be too little. Even Tayga doesn't want to use it...
And the shelf of this cabinet supposed to be the place for my laptop. I thought they wouldn't throw it down on the floor at night...
They wake up with me, they work with me. Well... I work, they run, play the ball, jump on the walls, bite impossible to bite things
"To bite impossible things...." You knew that was going to happen, right?
What happened to Tyga's ear? Is there a chunk missing? They are puuuuurrrrfect.
Oh yes, I knew that
Thank you @notkristie, they really are puurrfect. Amazing little creatures. Yes, a chunk of Tayga's ear is missing. She lost it as a very little kitten living her first two months on a farm where they were born. As I was told it had probably been a fox... Terrible experience for her, she was very frightened at the beginning and for a long time she run way every time I leaned my head over her. I think she thought I wanted to bite her.
Several days ago she got a scare again because of my stupidity. I was listening to the radio very loudly and cleaning the house sort of dancing and forgot I had left the balcony door opened too wide. She squeezed through it and left in a frosty evening. Thankfully Lion got my attention scared that his sister was gone. I found her disoriented, she couldn't find her way back. When she saw me she started to jump on the other balcony door and to miaow desperately. It was really heartbreaking. Fortunately she easily let me take her in my arms and get her inside. After a while everything was OK. A lesson for me...
And to tell something funny, today I made some sandwiches for lunch and left the plate in the room for a short while. When I got back I noticed a big slice of delicious turkey breast ham had been stolen and was being eaten on the floor by my two little monsters. It wasn't necessary to take it away from them 'cause the ham is eco and with nothing but a little amount of salt so I just brought another slice for me and started to enjoy my meal. After a while I spotted a little yellow plush ball pushed in between sandwiches. I think they wanted to give me something in return. I was deeply touched of course
But I don't see And I don't feel But tightly hold up silently My hands before my fading eyes And in my eyes Your smile
I mistook stars reflected in a pond at night for those in the sky.

Oh, you are so lucky she came back! I am very happy for you all that you have each other, stolen turkey slices, and all.
Regarding edible things, on Saturday Tayga ate a piece of string in which ham was wrapped and on Sunday Lion devoured a piece of the cling film along with a sausage of course. It's enough to turn around and not to look for a few seconds... They both are fine thankfully.

All the toys in the world can't compete with an empty beer tray
&, on the subject of toys, bought this scratch pad a while back. It's just a slab of corrugated cardboard, but they loved the last one. But the last one was flat & this one is curved like a skateboard ramp. So when the get on it to let rip, it flips onto its end & scares them
Stupid design really. Anyway, I dug deep back to play school level engineering to make struts out of toilet rolls for it
It is now stable & doesn't rock or tip onto its end

Well done! Now if you could only engineer the cat out of the plastic bag.
For the past 10 days it's been a kind of a roller-coaster. 10 days ago Lion had a huge epileptic attack.
It was like a suddenly coming back nightmare as last year in February he was close to death because of it. Back then he had a series of very frequent, regular attacks which lasted almost two days even though he was constantly given the intravenous drugs. Thankfully he came out of it. I have to mention that it happened also thanks to my mother who put a great effort into saving him. All the treatment was performed at home and she helped him and me a lot those days. It was her last effort she was able to do. After that Lion was kept long months on meds but they were reduced to zero eventually and we had several months when I thought it was over.
And now this. I was very scared it all might come back. We immediately put him back on meds and it seemed likely to be just an incident. My vet kept telling me not to worry and that he would stay on meds at most. Lion was fine and I felt better as well.
But last night it happened again, another huge, long attack. We increased the doses and I just may have hope... Of course, we're going to make full diagnostics but it will last. Magnetic resonance test will be possible only in a month. Without it we will never know what is going on in this little head. There is a queue though...
I feel like sitting on a ticking bomb. Again.
PS. Lion was sleeping on my knees while I was writing it (with one finger). Absolutely lovely thing.
