Also, Rog has re-recorded Dark Side but says "musically and spiritually. I'm the only one singing my songs on these new recordings, and there are no rock and roll guitar solos."

Aren't they the best bits?
He's beginning to reach Bonio levels of annoying-ness of late. If he's going to be as outspoken as he is, then he will see some back lash. Usually from people whose level of understanding doesn't reach further than a newspaper headline.
On the DSOTM 50, did you see the reaction from all the morons who took offence at the rainbow in the logo? Completely forgetting it's had a rainbow on the sleeve for.......50 years. I'm convinced that many people actively seek ways to take offence lately.
Polly Samson: Pink Floyd's very own Yoko Ono. She's fueled by jealousy as she can't write song lyrics to save her life. I'm one of the lucky ones & saw the original Wall in LA when I was in college. Fantastic but it was actually better when Roger toured it. Some humour at the Waters Wall show: the concessions counter had a hand written sign posted: No Pudding!

I hope Yoko casts a spell on you for that. But I'm sure she wouldn't. Harm none, do what ye will.

Would you feel better if I said Linda McCartney? Probably more accurate in regards to band dynamics.
Legally hard to prove if he decides to go that way but she has a point with the things she raises. Even if he has good intentions (very debatable), he's easily as heavy handed as Morrissey in how he expresses them. I guess, like Morrissey, he lives in a world where he never has to listen to anyone telling him to shut up/grow up.
I'll stick just with Nick Mason from now on. Roger became finally totally crazy and Iâm not big fan of David's solo stuff. And probably finished with live playing. And the oldest Floyd are still the best...

I donât think women had nothing to do with The Beatles split.
Linda came from a family of lawyers who wanted to run things. The rest of the band bought Allen Klein's particular brand of bs. As with everything it all came down to money in the long run. To be fair, that makes Linda only an accessory. I was just having fun with the Polly comparisons. I'm pretty firmly in camp Roger on the Pink Floyd stuff. I don't agree with him on everything but a lot of what he says makes sense. I won't get into it out of respect for the no politics rule. I will say that his recent tour was all about bringing people together & respect for human rights. It was quite a show.

Yes, I know all that. But that doesnât makes Linda guilty or catalyst of any kind. Ultimately was a Paul decision. He was an grown up man. He chose to fight against the rest of the band.
I think they grew up in different ways, with different interests and they ended up tired of each other after all those years. Specially John with Paul. He obviously canât stand Paul. John was so tired of The Beatles. All the rest (money, lawers fights, Apple, legal rights and so on.. was the accessory. Linda was Paulâs girlfriend. To call her âan accessoryâ although I get what you meant, sounds a bit terrible, Chuck).
Maybe we should bump that old forsaken Beatles thread. steve will be delighted.

Ultimately I've always been a George guy. The surly Beatle, haha. PS: I meant accessory in a legal sense, nothing else.
Just to chime in here. I'm seeing just how casually the blame for a band's split (whichever band) is being put squarely on the "woman". In a loving partnership/ relationship, there's typically more than one person involved. Wouldn't it follow that they're all equally culpable?
