Kate, he's probably staying in hospital for a while, isn't he? I like the idea of sending him a card or something to cheer him up a bit and to show him that we care. But we'd need the name of the hospital he's in to do this.
It should be quite easy to find out which one he's in. Obviously they won't give you personal information or information on his condition over the phone, but a call to the hospitals in the area would confirm which one he's in at least. My cousin had a heart valve replacement last year, she's been through alot and had it rough for quite some time, so I know a bit about what he must be going through. I hope he's doing ok!
