Hello from Mrs GOD

I'm just home, Nathan had surgery today and is already in a much better mood, he is in loads of pain but sent a text saying "I feel like I'm listening to Depeche Mode on repeat, my head is pounding and my chest feels empty", he still has a chest drain and the surgery wound hasn't been permanently closed yet, there was a hitch during the surgery which the Consultant says he will explain to us both tomorrow, he does say it's nothing to worry about but I can't help but worry some more. Thanks for all the best wishes and the offers of sending cards, I did tell Nathan and he says just knowing people want to send cards is good enough. I think he's had too many get well soon cards in his life already he has certainly had too many hospital stays. I will ask him again tomorrow but I don't think he will give the address out he doesn't even open cards from my family when he's in hospital. I also work at the hospital and because of past problems I don't he will want to give my work address out. I will let you know what he says though.

Happy to hear that his mood has already got better   My dad's surgery lasted way longer than expected too so I know that feeling very well, but I'm sure the hitch is nothing to worry about

& for you too. you must be in a heck of a state worrying. But don't.
You know him better than us. He's a tough old so & so & with you & us behind him he'll be just super fine.
I'll have the entire Depeche Mode discography posted in the morning for him.
Ask him if he wants the limited edition he asked for. I can do that too

Well ..... I am alive, sitting up is bloody painful so this is just a fleeting ramble. Everything seems to be going as planned, I was kept awake a couple of nights by an annoying cough, that has now gone and was apparently expected.
Breathing feels really strange, laughing hurts so much!! I have some "dodgy" blu rays with me, was watching "Pompeii" and the FBI Anti Piracy Warning popped up, made me laugh, a warning on a blu ray that isn't yet available to buy, not so clever these FBI dudes.
