If they were really that bothered they wouldn't even be going. You can have as many rainbow armbands & muted colours as you like. The only effective statement would be to just not get on the planes.
true, but thats a matter for the danish authorities to decide, not hummel. i'd be very suprised if fifa allow these kits to be worn though....
We interrupt this football thread for a bit of other sporting news: After 21 years of futility, my Seattle Mariners have made it into the Major League Baseball postseason. Woo hoo! The playoffs start next weekend & I've got tickets for some of the games. Again, woo hoo! GO Ms!
Sky Sports News have been going on about the Manchester derby all week, today I put the tv on at 10am and they've already started their coverage, they are still going on about it, WHY!! It's not really that important, it wasn't until Manchester City were bankrolled by Oil money that Sky Sports took any notice of this game - it's how FA Cup Final coverage used to be on the BBC, I just don't understand the blanket coverage.
Bewildered by Gary Neville claiming Southgate only picks players on form, who they play for doesn't matter, then he bactracks and says Maguire is picked as he never lets England down and England don't have that many centre backs. What a complete load of garbage.
Finally, a referee actually books Kane! He does this every game in the Premier League, "manufactures" fouls, barges into people and pretends he's fallen over. It's so obvious I've no idea how he gets away with it.
Non footie sports: My baseball Mariners (otherwise known as the M's...get it?) have game 2 of a best of 5 series today in Houston. We choked the first game but all is not lost. Our ace is pitching today. Game 3 is here on Saturday with our junior ace pitching. I shall be in attendance! Here's an example of how crazy things are getting here:

Well that hasn't gone well. I've never watched baseball, but 12 innings without points doesn't sound very entertaining!
On the plus side, if the Mariners end up losing I get to watch my NFL team tomorrow... If Mariners win, the game moves and I'll have to go to bed instead!

The game ended 1-0 after 18 innings. Houston won. I'm destroyed not by the loss but by medical stuff. I had to leave after 16 innings with burning back spasms. It was either that or crawl to the car after the game. Also, we're still living in a Blade Runner world. The air was in the unhealthy for everyone category yesterday. You can see the haze on the video. It's been like this for over a month & the main fire still isn't out. We're also setting temperature records, it's 80F this weekend. Unheard of this late in October.
