Using the chicken carcasses I bought this weekend to make bone broth. I love it on its own, plus I like adding it to other homemade soup.
Have you ever made húsleves? That's fantastic use of chicken carcasses.
That soup sounds fantastic! Mark my words, I will make it. Thank you so much for sharing the recipe! Tell me, is there a better meal than a bowl of soup with a hunk of bread ?
Oh wow I love mussels! What were they served with steve ?
They were in a sauce of white wine, garlic, onion, carrots (which I avoided like the plague) served with chunks of lemon & slices of tomato & mozzarella toast ( basically a non-fancy thin crust pizza)

I need a bib, I’m salivating like crazy! Especially over the carrots!
Had desert last night at ChikaLicious Dessert Bar, an institution. It made me feel kind of emotional that Chef Chika did not lose her space and her business due to the pandemic. It felt so comforting to be back in one of our old, favorite places from our courting days.
I had the dessert tasting menu with the strawberry shortcake as my main.
