The kid and I did some yard work earlier today before it got too hot, but the humidity was brutal. Drank three bottles of water in the hour and a half we were out there. Yuck. I hate summer. I keep seeing a posting on my Instagram feed about how nobody really likes summer, it's just sort of a reflex for Americans because we associate it with being out of school for a few months and we romanticize it. That was definitely me. Give me 70 degrees as the high and in the 50s at night and I'd be forever happy.
I also read that this is the hottest summer you'll experience up to this point in your life, and also the coolest summer you'll experience for the rest of your life. Thank you climate change. 😕

Same here. Also if it's about the temperature I like, 20°C is absolutely enough for me.
What also comes to my mind is that it's not the climate itself, it's not me or you directly either but it's we all as human species. And I don't believe we can deal with it.
But I don't see And I don't feel But tightly hold up silently My hands before my fading eyes And in my eyes Your smile
I mistook stars reflected in a pond at night for those in the sky.

unfortunately i love summer the hotter the better...the best thing about European summers are the storms we get. the only time of the year when you get to hear thunder and see lightning! with global warming we are seeing how different seasons are responding every year something new which is what we need to deal to get along with.
