Again, so many people spitting on Carved in Sand or Masque! I always liked them.
I like Carved In Sand quite a lot as it goes. Masque was very uninspired though really & after that they lost me. I remember going to their gigs & taking carrier bags full of ripped up paper. Ah, many a train was left looking a bit "Eskimo'd"
Unfortunately for me, sometimes I am just to personal about some records. For The Masque was there "when I really needed it" (end of 1992, beginning of 1993) - I will always praise Never Again, From One Jesus To Another and especially Spider and the Fly. I lost my interest in The Mission after Masque though. Never attended any of their gigs. They have been in Athens in October 2010, but I was simply out of any interest for them then.
An impression of sound Then everything is gone Forever
as i see there are some new replies (i did not refresh for a while) something to the theme. carved in sand was my first mission album i encountered and my "feelings" towards it are very similar to my "feelings" towards the wish album: yes, i know there are maybe better ones but you can never forget your first time:)

It was very good Gita but I may have put a few pictures in the FOTN thread, as they were actually the headliners for the London gig. Or I may have put them in the Planning to go and See thread!
