Thank you all for being here. Watching with this community fills my little heart with so much happiness. It would not nearly be as much fun without YOU ALL. Massive hugs.
So many thanks to wilgy for the brilliant pics all night long. You are amazing, and bring us closer to the show! And so many thanks to steve for his amazing introductions. You are legend, sir. Can't wait to find out what we didn't know about Pasadena
And finally, thank you, thank you, The Cure. xoxo
Now, I gotta feed my cats before they murder me. See you all at the next show...
Thank you, you amazing Cure bunch. There is nothing like watching our perfect boys with you. What is a must is The Cure gig with all of you in flesh and blood in the first rows (assuming we would be able to push away all those youngsters... ). We would be the greatest audience ever, no doubt about it.
Tonight's gig in Paris was excellent. For me the part of the set from Deep Green Sea to Disintegration (mature, emotional and so meaningful) was a feast and a blast. Plus from ANLT to Last Dance. Plus FS The Cure are truly great and I am really proud it is my band, not only my favourite band but it's just the band of my life, the one and only.
As for the end of the summer... Well, I'm sure I'll play in a while the appropriate song. But I don't want to feel like that. It's not the end. First of all, we're going to see each other here again in a week. At least I'm going to wake up at 4 am on next Sunday to follow The Cure show in Pasadena. Really. Then, two or three gigs in October will happen. Meanwhile let's hope for the new album is going to be finished and a new tour in 2020 will be announced.
It's not the time to end. It's too fu.cking excellent and there is so much left to burn.
See you soon!
But I don't see And I don't feel But tightly hold up silently My hands before my fading eyes And in my eyes Your smile
