Wilgy says the crowd went crazy for the fried egg song!
Crowd is so predictable...
Sorry, it's still old me and during the poppy encore it's my time to rest and cool down. Although I must say it's very nice to see Robert and Co. enjoying so much, the temperature is going down
Do a lot of people here not like Friday I'm In Love?
If you have a lead on Brisbane 21 August 1992 - CT version, for the love of Bob, let me know. Please!

The guitars? Bassline? Keys, melodies? vocals? lyrics?
I'm really interested in why people don't like certain things I do like. If you don't mind spilling, that is..
I hated when I was young and it came out. Now I don't care about it. Just not my cup of tea. The mood, the melodie, the lyrics... I find it cheesy and it bores me, doesn't hit me in any way. There's nothing I like about The Cure in that song.
I'm not saying is bad song, just saying I don't like it.
Love them both (Lovecats/Friday song) Actually i do love/like every single THE CURE song (with just one exception of 'Never' from the self-titled album) But who knows?I might even like this, one day in the future...
I have laughed so much tonight. Thankyou for doing that. You are such a lovely bunch of people to be at a concert with & I truly hope one day we can all be in the same arena/venue or whatever to see the best band on the planet currently. We'd miss the gifs but we'd still have a ball. You are so fcuking awesome. All of you A huge thanks to wilgy for the updates & the brilliant images & to sang (who has jet lag) for backing me up tonight in case I crashed out . & to The Cure. You have overtaken The Sisters as my favourite band. What I heard this evening was outstanding. So looking forward to Sunday & I had better make sure I speak to bloke down the pub tomorrow. Goodnight you lovely lot x

Not so many, I think. I've never been a fan of this song, though. It's the second worst on Wish, imho, right after High. (Sorry, I'm very sorry...) It must be a good pop hit as people know it and connect it to The Cure immediately but it's also very unimaginative. Simple in a bad way, there's really nothing in it. Oh, maybe a few lines are good, those about eating in the middle of the night. Most of all it bores me very quickly. I can't listen to it anymore.
But I don't see And I don't feel But tightly hold up silently My hands before my fading eyes And in my eyes Your smile
I mistook stars reflected in a pond at night for those in the sky.

Ok, but what about the music? I love the “climbing” melody that’s mixed down low, and how the rhythm guitar and keyboard interplay with each other.
It’s one of my faves to play on the guitar, the chord progressions are simple enough, but just work so well.

High and Friday the worst on Wish? It's perfect Cure pop, the worst track is easily Wendy Time by a country mile, the only flaw on a near perfect album.
High sounds like 'Pictures of You' ptII but without the bitter sweet melancholy. Has really got a good bass-line,great drums by the master (aka Boris) Classic RS Fender VI sound, a great video-clip made by ouh the well known director, nice (psychedelic) sleeve artwork and one of the greatest b'sides ever. All in all is SO CURE-ish music,i can't get it 'the reason why' a lot of the old fans don't like it. Sorry to say so but THE CURE didn't stopped in the year 1982...

I simply don't feel this music. I doesn't make me happy, I can't see in it anything special. As I said it bores me. Sorry, I can't help it.
