I have this week off and what feels like the beginning of a cold (isn't that what always happens?) So binge watching something new is on the menu today. And soup.
So far, I love the quirkiness of the main character...
This is quite disturbing. Update. Upgraded to distressing
I just started this. A good reminder of why it's not always a great idea for sensitive souls to let their guard down for the downtrodden.
It starts to get quite terrifying but Gadd's monologue in episode 6 will bring dust into the room. A lot of dust. I think I held my breath for the duration of it. Incredible

Just finished Episode 1 and I think I'll watch at least one more today.
It's not *too* terrifying yet, but I can see hints. She still just seems desperate and annoying, but not yet Kathy Bates in Misery level (sort of my go to for thinking about crazy, terrifying female characters).

Just finished the monologue scene and about to start episode 7. His suit is beautiful. How could nobody in the audience run up and give him a hug? Oh, yeah. It wasn't real.
This ended up being an entirely different show than I'd anticipated. Very glad I didn't read any spoilers beforehand b/c I often choose to.
I'm so proud of Baby Reindeer for having an outspoken voice on transgender discrimination. It's done in a way that makes you question your own biases because you can identify with D & T, who are both great characters. The pub workplace also perfectly captures the douchey bro culture that's so prevalent in the hospitality business.
From the first two seconds of the opening music for episode 7, I'm happy to surmise we may get a bit of a lift, now.
Played the original 3 games on PC (Tactics was my fave there) and got a 360 to play Fallout 3 which was so much fun.
There was a sense of nostalgia in watching the series, the branding of goods and stores was faithful to the games. Was surprised at how large a Pipboy was though.
Walton Goggins is superb in everything I have seen him in and he rocked as The Ghoul. (Fave line: One good question deserves another.)
Strange coincidence, I started this series just after watching Dune part 2. Kyle Maclaughlin played Paul in the first Dune (and I think he did a better job) and then he popped up in Fallout.
There is some great footage of the Skeleton Coast (Namibia) in some of the early episodes of Fallout. World travellers could do worse than visit there sometime.
It would be so perfect If you would just fall out the window
