Is there a The Cure song that makes you sad or is disturbing to you? And why.
For me it is The Big Hand. The music makes me feel sad and scared actually. I can't listen to it to often. I can't even explain why it does that to me but it does?

How about all of you?
the song that springs to mind, for me,is ‘cold’,especially that heavy keyboard part...and an honorable mention to ‘fear of ghosts’ too
I love The Big Hand but it's the lyrics that are unsettling for me rather than the music. The songs that seem most bleak have a little lyrical or musical something that stops them being unremittingly dark - even Faith has the glimmer of hope or saying the right words.

I love that song as well. Apparently the only reason it wasn't included on Wish was because Boris Williams was adamant that it not appear on the album, although they planned it as the third single from Wish, but Boris insisted it not being on Wish.
I wonder what his problem was with that song? His drumming is ace..So, what was the problem? I don't get it!
