I was thinking about that, I've wanted an Ovation for years - a dream to play. No photos but current arsenal includes Les Paul Studio, Fender Strat, Aria Pro and a garden variety Fender acoustic. Plus a Precision bass that needs completely resetting after being in storage without any TLC.
And with all that, I mainly play along to the intros of TV shows..

So.... Fender Strat (USA 2014)
Fender Squier 2009(?) backup guitar
Yamaha RBX260 (1996)
Fender DG-8 NAT acoustic (2002)
Marshall VS100
Fender Bassman 100W + 4 X 12 cab (1974)
Pedals Boss TU-3 tuner > Dunlop Crybaby Wah > Boss DD-3 Digital Delay > Boss DS-2 Turbo Distortion > Boss PH-2 Super Phaser > Boss AW-2 Auto Wah > Mooer Slow Engine (Boss SG-1 Slow Gear clone) > Boss BF-2 (1985ish) Flanger > Boss CH-1 Super Chorus encased in a Road Ready RRGP32, powered by two "Wall Warts" daisy-chained across the pedals. There's a Boss DD-7 Digital Delay that I use for live vocals (well I would if I ever played live)
If you have a lead on Brisbane 21 August 1992 - CT version, for the love of Bob, let me know. Please!

Oh i have a nylon string valencia guitar that i bought for $5 and fixed up by gluing it back together, and a dodgy yamaha psr-60(?) keyboard somewhere too.
I also have an M-Audio M-Track I/O, and a Shure SM-57, and an SM-58.
i think that's it.
I want to buy a Fender Squier Bass VI, but don't really see the point, and also.... money...

my squier bass vi is....ok i suppose.the low ‘e’ is a bit loose, but this is a common problem with the factory fitted strings,so i’ve read.i haven’t bothered changing them, its ok for just messing about with. i’d always wanted a bass, then decided to get this when i sold my u.s standard telecaster. i have to say,my evh wolfgang is an absolute dream to play, for me,it’s easily the best guitar i’ve ever played....altough it doesn’t help me play like mr van halen🙁😄

I’ve seen some videos about how the Squier VIs need to be modded to fix intonation issues, though it usually requires changing the bridge. I’ll link to them tonight, they’re interesting enough to watch.
Yeah I have the same problem with my Strat. Whilst it’s better and easier to play than any other guitar I’ve had, I’m not miraculously better Hahahah

I thought i'd give the Harley benton VS a go as it's way cheaper than a Fender. Really great sound and can certainly get Roberts sound so I'm happy. picture didn't work here's a link.
