Hi! anybody knows how the ticket ballot works? I mean: if I put "4 tickets", could buy one ticket for each show? or 2 for 2 shows? You can see my english is not great... In 2011 it was the same way? Regards

It works like a lottery. You basically add your details & you're entered. The Opera House will send emails to randomly selected applicants when the tickets go on sale. According to the site, you can try for a maximum of 4 tickets per performance. I guess this is the fairest way of doing it as the venue is pretty small (2,600 capacity) & will sell out pretty quickly.
My bank account is happy I missed out. My heart though...
I totally forgot that I would receive the mail from Sydney Opera House between 1:00 am and 6:00 am (German Time)
When I woked up at 6:00 in the morning I checked my mails and had an info about successful ballot. I tried to get tickets in the next step, but got the info: ALLOCATION EXHAUSTED
