The majority of the song seems to be an inner conflicting emotional disillusionment about continuing as a band.
I think the last part "You give me flowers of love" and "I let fall flowers of blood" is metaphorical for the pleasure and pain of the creative process of making art.
I think it's an argument. You have two opposing points of view which breaks the song into two distinct halves. Most likely a breakup where one party wants to carry on & one doesn't & neither of them wanting to admit they are wrong.
