I know you will violently disagree with this steve but I think Nothing Records (Trent Reznor's label) would be a good home for a new record. I think they would take good care of Robert & band & give them the attention they so deserve. I don't see the Cure working out with someone like Anti or ATO. Sub Pop has been branching out some (see Beach House). Maybe that would be a decent fit. They certainly would make a big deal of it!
I kind of agree with Steve on this one. I like NIN (I know he does not) But the last thing we want is The Cure to be slaves to Trent and his crew. Robert should have his own label! Is this so impossible?? I'm not an expert at these things.
i think it would be more labour than robert would want to be involved with. if you get someone to do it for you, its a big placement of trust. does the cure even have a manager now? i know they didn't for quite awhile. the chris parry experience probably left a bad taste for that sort.
